      Is Malignaggi's heart in it?

I remember he said he will retire if Broner doesn't rematch him.

He already has a good commentating job. Maybe now would be a good time to walk away. Broner is never going to give him a rematch.

IMO Paulie is clearly looking to cash out, he got $1m+ for Broner so I imagine he's looking for another strong payday to fight Judah.

Zab doesn't seem as bothered by lower paydays, maybe he needs the money more.

I think the only fight that motivates Malignaggi on a boxing level is Broner because the fight was competitive and Broner insulted him personally.

broner wont give him a rematch and in all honesty he shouldnt. paulie fought well but he was clearly beaten.

i think judah is a better fight than he could have hoped for, beating judah would no doubt be the biggest win of his career and i reckon it would be a nice payday regardless. considering how big a fight this is for his career and what an event it would be in BK at barclays i dont see how he could turn this down.

beating judah might actually give him a small shot at landing that broner rematch or at least another big fight that then could lead to broner. even if it doesnt it would give him a chance to leave a real lasting mark in the sport which tbh he hasnt and a payday to go with it. how can he not jump on this opportunity?

I don't think he's into it any more. If you think about it, he's a 30+ two weight world champ who has fought at home and abroad.

Is there really anything left for him in fighting apart from money?

Malignaggi wouldn't beat Zab Judah, but it would be a good fight with a great atmosphere.

Paulie might as well retire at this point. There's really nothing left for him to do as a fighter. He's had a good career, now he should just focus on commentating. But I have a feeling he doesn't want to go out on a Broner loss. I think that would bother him, & would maybe cause Broner to talk even more trash about how he retired Paulie.
