So what i get from this thread is Murray is ducking because he wasn't allowed to fight in the US and didn't try and force the title holder to fight in the UK. Are these guys serious?

The sad thing is that they are serious. These so called ducks are counted as victories to them.

        Pathetic.

Explain to me why Hatton lied to Murray, or why Murray lied to everyone else, or why they are both playing dumb?

Can you do that? Or can you just accept that they contradict each other, which usually, logically, implies they are full of ****.

        I'll wait.

Speaking to Steve Bunce about Murray's next move, Hatton said: "We're hoping to make an announcement in the next few weeks. There are lots of offers coming in for Martin, but it's just about finding the right move at the right time.

"That's something I leant from my old promoter, Frank Warren. This promoting game is all about timing and Martin's a real flavour of the month due to his wonderful performance.

"He's had offers - Golovkin [was] one of them. Martin has no fear of fighting any of them and I think he's proved that by going to Argentina and going to Germany."

But Hatton knows from his own experience in the ring that there are benefits to pacing the flow of fights against top quality opposition.

"I wanted to fight Kostya Tszyu three years before I boxed him and if I'd done that, he'd have beaten me," Hatton admitted. "It's all about the right timing - build the fight up, build the interest."

in other words they turned down the fight because they knew they would lose and would rather milk a bit more money out of murray first.

murray looked **** scared on the sky sports broadcast after he watched golovkin destroy macklin. he basically said he didn't see any way anyone could beat ggg.

What part of Murray not being allowed into the USA do you ******* not understand?

GGG could have forced the fight if he wanted to. Murray would have had his mandatory position stripped if he refused. Didn't happen because i believe they both agreed to fight later.

Then why not state he is not allowed in to the USA, and can only fight in the UK, but will gladly accept a fight in the UK if the money is right.

Instead, he goes and lies saying he hasn't received an offer, even though his promoter confirms he has.

                Are you not reading?

How do you know he lied? He might not have known about it when asked.

You really think a promoter doesn't tell his fighter essential stuff often? You think Murray wouldn't read the article himself? Do you not think people on twitter would not message him about the article instantly, which is ALWAYS the case?

He lied man, get over it, in the 21sts century if you use twitter or facebook regularly (he does) you will get told about **** that gets published instantly.

You telling me to THIS DAY Murray still doesn't realize he has been given an offer? LOL.

which makes perfect business sense and is what hatton as a promoter and Murray's manager are supposed to do-make their client the most money for each fight they can.

This gets lost on a lot of posters who treat prizefighting like it is amatuer boxing.
