That means we REALLY don't know HOW good he really is ! A shop Worn Cotto bloodied and bullied Mayweather but just didn't have the strength to stay the course.

IS JR really a GREAT ? Which fight in the last 8 years DEFINES JR ??????

Jr just fought a blown up featherweight and did NOT make it a slaughter

Canelo just fought a full blown 154 bigger than he that is an ELITE and whupped him, knocking him down.

I am feeling weird feelings about this fight

Jr may be in the fight for his life, this boy Canelo is NO PUSH OVER, no cherry PICK

again what do we have to measure JR by ?

again this is JR's first threat in over ten years, he has coasted thru little people, OLD people and WORN OUT fighters
And trout is elite based on what?? that shop worn cotto that you just mention

Trout was an undefeated Jr MW champion in his prime making him an elite by the media and his fight status.

He JUST WHUPPED YER PRECIOUS COTTO BAD much worse than what he got from JR and Canelo whupped Trout and coasted

News flash Canelo: This will be another walk in the park for Mayweather.

You're too inexperienced for the p4p king. He chose you because of that.
Floyd's alot of things, but one thing is he's not fool, and he knows a layup when he sees one. This could be as easy as his last fight.

There is only one challenge for him, and that's with the middleweight kingpin Sergio Martinez. He's fast, smart,(southpaw) strong, great footwook, and won't stand in front of Mayweather like the rest of the "stiffs" that Floyd has been spanking.

If they meet at 154, we could possibly see his 1st loss. He's been avoiding Martinez for years. Now that Martinez looks shop worn(like Hagler looked to Leonard)this could be the right time for both great fighters to meet!

GGG still has unfinished business with the MW kingpin Martinez.
If, and a big if he gets past him, then the right of passage could be FMM.

Call me crazy, but I still feel that Manny is the only one with a chance to beat Mayweather, mainly because of speed and power and I believe he has an internal massive belief that he can do it, just like Holyfield had with Tyson.

I am also of the minority who think Manny is one of the few fighters who could actually test Floyd. I would still love to find out.

Idk why people talk shyt about Canelo struggling with Trout. Austin is no slouch and I actually think Austin Trout is a tough fight for anyone including Floyd. Trout is big he knows how to use his size he's in shape has heart throws a lot of punches has a good defense. Trout is trouble for anyone. I thought he beat Cotto pretty handely and Cotto had just gave Floyd a tough fight. As a matter a fact Cotto came closer to beating Mayweather than he did to beating Trout.
Trout's lack of power is contrasted by his underrated strength. He bullied Cotto, easily. I think no WW could beat him. Honestly, I don't even think Floyd could beat him because he's tall and rangy and wouldn't be apprehensive of his power at all. He had very little respect for Cotto in there, I don't think Floyd, who is much sharper, but less aggressive, could do it either.
