How do you know I don't like Floyd? I'm actually a big, big fan of his style. He is a beautiful boxer to watch, one of the best. The way he sets up his punches and controls the fight, watch the 4th and 8th Round of the Hatton fight and tell me that wasn't pure genius. To dominate one of the best thinking fighters in Marquez, although at a catchweight, is an incredible display of the sweet science. He is one of the most gifted fighters ever.
Sadly, though, after the JLC fights, he became more concerned about the "0" than challenging himself. Jimmy Bredahl, ffs.
And now the hypocrisy with the catchweight.
Anyway, Floyd complains about not getting credit because deep down inside he knows that he cherrypicked his way to the top of the heap. There is nagging doubt in his mind and that is why it bothers him so much.
Floyd: "I never get credit for me wins! Waaaaahhhh!"
Then fight Canelo at 154 or shut the hell up!
I will enjoy how Floyd will dismantle Canelo round by round. Another sweet display of the sweet science by one of the best of this era. But credit? Hell no. He said it himself, "Cotto is undefeated because one of his loses came from a catchweight." So no credit for you Floyd. Sorry.
Pacquiao is the foreman of the cherry orchards, but Floyd owns the land.
