Don't switch the question. I asked you who brought up 147. It was floyd sr. right? Can you at least acknowledge that?It is confirmed that Canelo said during negotiations that he could not comfortably make 152. And you know which parties confirmed the Catchweight during negotiations because that is when the SHT hit the fans, literally and Mayweather and his fans went through a living hell over it. Mayweather asked for a Catchweight and members from both Canelo and Mayweather's team confirmed so for you to ask a question when you were on these boards when the information was out means you either have a short memory or didn't actually read articles you responded to. Team Canelo AT THE START of negotiations said they cannot comfortably make less than 154 but team Mayweather still tried to work it.
Canelo said he could make 152 comfortably. SO both of us have a short memory
As for the rest of your post, of course floyd and his team discussed a CW. Why would floyd ask for a CW? He would simply demand it and if Canelo said no there would be no fight.Comment

Says page is not validRead. This is what Canelo said in many interviews: http://www.************.com/2013/05/...-go-any-lower/Comment

Floyd Sr and Roger later confirmed. AND team Canelo said the same thing. Canelo NEVER said he could comfortably make 152 during negotiations and even Floyd would say he could comfortably make 135 YEARS AGO!! Does that mean Floyd could make 135 today? No. Read the article that shows that Floyd asked for 147 and then 150. I posted it earlier.Don't switch the question. I asked you who brought up 147. It was floyd sr. right? Can you at least acknowledge that? Canelo said he could make 152 comfortably. SO both of us have a short memory As for the rest of your post, of course floyd and his team discussed a CW. I guess its a Dawson/Ward situation according to Ellerbe. You shouldn't show your cards before a negotiation and that's what it seems they did, in order to the fight. Probably wasn't the best decision considering that Canelo has a substantial following and doesn't need Mayweather, but he did it. If we know Mayweather he will take advantage of any opening, even if its not sportsman like so don't expect not to do it in the negotiating table as well.Comment

Floyd's best interest
Your right man. If Floyd wants you to bend over and put his ____ in you, then you can't criticize him for it, because he's just doing what's in his best interest - simple.no it isn't. Floyd does what is in floyd's best interest. Its no different than any other fighter who occupies the top spot in boxing or is an upper echelon earner.
It was in his best interest to elevate Cotto. Its in his best interest to CW Canelo. Simple.
Posters who are looking to criticize floyd for anything are continually pointing out the hypocricy on to this because they think it delegitimizes what they believe will be a floyd victory.Comment
