RIP champ....
It might be worth noting in honor of TM....We are still in the midst of an Aids epidemic. Its hard to remember that at times because the disease is not "sexy" to report on anymore.
I just hope this realization might be thought in honor of Tommy. And heres the thing, while the idea that the virus is somehow manufactured may SEEM crazy? think about it some time....What virus do you know that is transferred through one set of social behavoir, allows one to mingle, eat and otherwise be part of the population with no possability of contagion, etc.
Aids is a very weak virus, it cannot live on a tiolet seat like Hep for example. If ever a virus was manufactured it would look a lot like Aids....Maybe Morrison was not so crazy.

Very sad indeed, great fighter. Wonder if the tests he took back in the 90s actually was negative, was that ever proven?
Alot of good people in boxing have passed lately. Manny steward, Corrie sanders, Michael Dokes and now "the duke"himself.

Rip
Poor boy makes good, loses it all, dies young. Sad, all too frequent story in this sport.
If Tommy Morrison had say, Ray Mercer's chin, we would be talking about him as an all time great. As it was he was a talented but flawed action fighter who was right up there near the top during the Heavyweight division's last golden era.

Side note wasn't there just a thread a few weeks ago how it actually wasn't aids and that he had some extremely rare disease? I don't remember what it was called but I remember reading the thread.

I Actually cried to hear this news. He was so alone after his diagnosis, so abandoned, I felt so bad for him.
