Rigondeaux exposed Donaire for trying to take the easiest road to become a star but real fans know that Arum,Top Rank,Dunkin and Donaire want to take no more risks. He wants to win belts against the easiest titleholders in order to become a legend haha

**** out of here. Rigo is your daddy!

Ppl **** on Donaire for fighting Vic (which is understandable) who is a clear tuneup/confidence booster fight...but now there are plans for donaire to fight gradovich (IBF featherweight champ) in early 2014 and ppl still **** on him for it? WTF? What am I missing here? If donaire beats gradovich he'll be a legit 4 weight world champ..and he could go on and unify for the wbo or WBA super also in 2014....

I only watched the Dib fight and a few short clips, but from what I've seen I think Gradovich's style is tailor made for Donaire to look good, a non technical guy standing right in front of you most of the time. If Donaire's power is anything at 26 I think he beats Gradovich easily.

That's the problem man.......a 4 weight world champ fighting the easiest titleholder in order to get to that status. Come on man Donaire is never going to fight anybody that can beat him, he will fight tailor made guys for him to look like a beast smh

That's the problem with boxing in 50 years people will read about a guy like Nonito Donaire and say wow this guy was a 4 weight class champion. He has to be considered the GOAT when in reality he fought stiffs, old men, little midgets to win those belts haha

Yes he is. He came in as a last minute replacement to fight the all mighty Billy Dib for the IBF belt which isn't saying much. Glad Gradovich is making good $$$ by taking a opportunity that Luis Franco didn't take advantage of. For his trainer to try and serve him up to Donaire is some shady ****. Darchiniyan and Gradovich are no threats to Donaire their easy pickings

Exactly. Donaire was talking about moving up to 126 over a year ago and has recently claimed a struggle to make the 122 limit (possibly an excuse, but it's something he was talking about well before the Rigondeaux fight was even signed.)

These Rigondeaux cultists are just bitter over the fact that his promoter and HBO have no interest in him, and neither does anybody else outside of his very small and limited fanbase. That isn't Donaire's fault and these people should be grateful that Donaire actually gave Rigondeaux the time of day in the first place.
