    Canelo stopped Jose Cotto.

    M. Hatton is a durable veteran and has not been stopped since 2003. He was running, hiding, tying up, employing every trick in the book to stay away from Canelo. He showed no intent to win.

Mayweather failed to knock out plenty of mediocre fighters and we're talking about down at 130, not up at 147,154.

And to the guy who said that Cotto and Canelo have similar power, I'm curious what Cotto has done at 154 to merit such acknowledgement of his power. Was it the way he failed to stop Margarito coming on strong a 2nd time? Was it how Yuri Foreman snapped his own knee? OK, a late stoppage of Mayorga was eye catching, but Trout bossed him. He's 3/2 at 154 and one of the Ws he can thank Manny Pacquiao for (since the 2nd Marg fight was looking eerily similar to their 1st one before that eye saved Cotto from having to survive the last 3 rounds).

Want to know if Canelo hits hard? Maybe ask Austrin Trout who walked through Cotto's best but saw his legs go from under him when Canelo caught him clean.

Floyd talks up fighter: tards say he's trying to hype them.

Floyd talks down a fighter: tards say Floyd admits he's fighting (insert whatever **** Floyd says about them).

Got to love the simplicity. Poor little fanboys. Patently waiting for Floyd to make a decision so they can cry about it suggesting he should have done the opposite.

Sometimes a good or great counter puncher can afford to be slow on his feet, Marquez isn't that fast on his feet, neither is Broner, same goes for Canelo. This is actually one of those fights where Canelo simply may not have the foot speed to compete, all I'm saying. On top of that he doesn't step in with the jab the way Cotto does. That said, maybe Canelo has more success than Cotto, maybe he will, we'll just have to see. Strictly based on what I've seen, I don't think he'll have as much success as Cotto.

Trout was on the ropes in the cotto fight and would hold all night what are you talking about it was a close fight and even with Canelo dropping trout he still lost that fight in many ppls eyes stop trying to discredit cotto and have Canelo prove himself

come on floyd we'll see what happens in da fight !

here is the difference between Cotto and Canelo ,Cotto is a strong solid fighter that brings everything to you but he doesn't have the special effects that Canelo has like unexpected speed and power burst that can cause a knockout at any time and unexpected defense that gets tighter as da fight goes on plus canelo adjust better and as far as the Mosley fight, Shane mostly was in survival mode and if he didn't headbutt canelo so much he would have been knocked out .

Gotta agree with Floyd on this one. Cotto have more experience and fought Floyd at 154. Alvarez is too green and fighting Floyd at 152 which I think is gonna make a big difference in the fight.
