What makes Duran and Chavez better than Richard Lopez?

Lopez was a better fighter than both Duran and Chavez, of this I am convinced.

However, of no fault of his own, his resume just isn't there. That's why I rate Duran above Lopez.

lopez could've moved up. its a shame his best wins are tough fights with alvarez

I know there is footage of fighters pre 1950, there's not many fighters there aren't footage of.

I just think it's funny you're talking about people ranking "old school" fighters for the sake of being old but your list of ridden with "old" fighters.

Your list is good though. Chavez and Hopkins are obvious poor choices but it's a good list overall. Don't really agree with the order though.

It's not ridden with old fighters unless you call guys who fought in the 30s as old lol

Wow that's a terrible list, no offence but Greb and Moore above Ali? Langford...Like seriously, you don't even have Ali top 10? I think you're trying too hard, that's quite honestly one of the worst lists I have ever seen.

Also, to guys like RustyDan who don't have Ali in their top 10 and to guys like K-Dogg who don't even have him top 20 but have guys like Charles and Moore...why is he not there?

Seriously, the man has one of the best resumes ever, easily a top 5 resume irregardless of weight class, he was the number one heavyweight in the golden age of the division. I can only say that about Robinson being the number one in what was the greatest mw generation ever. How anyone can justify Ali not being at the very least a top 10 is beyond me.

Oh and about Barney Ross, easily one of the truly greats, like I said, a lot of the names I had swimming around my head outside of the top 6 or 7 were neck and neck. Ross could easily be ranked anywhere from 15-25.

Greb is hands-down greater than Ali. Langford is undoubtedly top 10, and Moore is top 10 or close to it. I have Ali at #7 but there are clearly fighters greater than him.
