yah mares is a good fighter....but nothing on the top ten p4p level...getting stopped in the first round by a past prime and shopworn fighter doesn't scream top ten p4p material...but props to him for wanting to rematch gonzalez...mares better remember to keep that right glove up or he's getting ko'ed again.

He is should follow Pacwreck and be fighting a Rios class bum after being KOed not a puncher boxer that just stopped him , do a Manny and fight bums from lower divisions then he can expect to get the big fights with the best guys , shame on Mares for taking a rematch with a guy that beat him .

Mares will be ok win or lose. Much respect. Shane rematched Forrest, Marquez Pac, Izzy Raf Marquez, the list goes on and on. There is no business decision when it comes to revenge. First round stoppage loss too. Kudos to Mares.
