Time for Andre Ward to defend his title or be stripped

Oosie had a flat performance in his last fight; but so what? He's a ranked contender, has an entertaining style and has already fought several times on HBO. I don't see this as a bad 'stay busy' fight at all - in fact, it could be a very entertaining fight

Entertaining style? His last fight was one of the worst I've ever seen. I can't imagine that HBO would approve him after that. I also can't imagine his people wanting to put him in with Ward either.

Look, I'm going to rant because I think it needs to be said.

Andre Ward, in the span of 2 years fought Sakio Bika, Arthur Abraham, Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler. What does he have to show for it? Nothing but a couple of green boxes on BoxRec.

He did everything right. He fought the top rated fighters in his division, he beat them all, he carried himself with class and he cleaned out his division. That is everything we ask for from a fighter. What do we reward him with...NOTHING. ......

I fear you have wasted valuable time and insight in trying to prove a point to these bums. i can't stand some of these unproven boxers today that have a huge hyped up following when they really don't have the resume. Go and take Wards belt so he can take it right back.

HBO has turned down every single fighter Ward has suggested as an opponent.

If he takes on Kessler it doesn't have to be November, even though a November fight is still possible to make. HBO will not be the primary revenuegenerator for this fight. That would be scandinavian PPV and a massive gate.

Then I hear he's trying to get HBO to green light him fighting some sheep herders and part time Jack in the Box employees. What a disgrace. As far as I'm concerned, he doesn't exist. He was already stripped a few months ago of one of his belts as he's recovering from an injury. You want him to be stripped of another belt? I'm sure he's working on something.

On a side note, I'd like to see him fight Froch again.. He's such a beast, yet their styles didn't make a super exciting bout. Froch stated so after his last victory. He doesn't feel that a rematch would be worth the fans' interest due to Ward's "boring" style of fighting.. I think that comment might have stung Ward a bit, and if they fight again, perhaps he'll open it up at bit more and give the fans more fireworks..

at this point, it seems as though Ward needs to move up or down to get a huge fight. Who, realistically, would you guys like to see Ward step up and fight?
