considering two mexicans beat two mexicans, I think Mexican boxing is fine.

Mexican is a nationality? Canelo and Mares are both Mexican but the same race?
It doesn't matter if it was a fellow Mexican my point is 1 of their top guys lost and the other two might lose aswell.

I'm not at all just saying their top 3 might lose on a span of 3 months.

Won't be state of emergency but it'll suck to have their top guys go down right after the other

I kinda disagree with this comparison.

oh i see. Well, I think you do have a point in Canelo.

I like the collection of current Mexican champs and prospects, and I do count a lot of Mexican-Americans born in Mexico or who clearly are very comfortable with Mexican culture (like Leo Santa Cruz or Panterita).

But, as far as a mega star, its riding on Canelo. You're right. But, unless he gets embarrassed, there's no shame in losing to Floyd. Say he knocks Floyd down on way to a unanimous loss? Victory. That's the high standard that Floyd is.

Out of 68 belts, Mexico holds 10 belts currently, the USA holds 14*.

*counting Mikey Garcia and Mike Alvarado as US fighters.

No shame in losing to Floyd or Tim. No Shame even losing to a guy like Gonzalez. It's boxing anything can happen in there. Dude has almost 50 knockouts. Mares, Canelo and JMM are the big dawgs for Mexico n it would be crazy to see them all lose right after the other.

I count 7 beltholders (Estrada has two so 8 legitimate titlebelts), I don't count interim of WBA BS belts. If Canelo (154 WBC) loses and Marquez (140 WBO) get's stripped (like he should have) then they'll be down to 5 beltholders:

                  Miguel Vazquez 135 (IBF)
                  Johnny Gonzalez 126 (WBC)
                  Leo Santa Cruz 122 (WBC)
                  Juan Francisco Estrada 112 (WBA/WBO)
                  Adrian Hernandez 108 (WBC)

Carlos Molina could win a title by beating Ishe Smith (154 IBF), I suspect he will but he could also get robbed as usual. If Canelo loses and Marquez retires after Bradley (as many think he will), then Mexico will be left with no top 10 P4P's.
