Abner is a good fighter and has the potential to be one of the best but a little bit overrated for his age before the fight, just like Nacho, I feel sad to see the kid got KO'd to early in the fight.

Oscar and Richard just made Mares looked so bad with all the hype talk. Abner will be back for sure but those GBP people should really stop all the BS talk. Ortiz,Berto,Mares and who's next to go down Broner? Man, Oscar always falls short. Mares will definitely be back soon!

But that's what promoters are supposed to do. They talk up, hype up, praise their hot streak fighters. That's what a good promoter does. What I think GBP went wrong was pushing Mares too fast and too high in weight.

Notice how Arum never talks up, hypes up, or praises Rigondeaux?

I don't mind that GBP was high on Mares. He was their first homegrown champion and they were justifiably proud of him.

Yes, Berestein felt the pain of that Jhonny Gonzalez Mexican Hell Hook.

Mares got lit and couldn't recover in time.
