It's funny how fast a fighter gets **** on after a loss. It's as if they never did anything the second they lose. It's sad boxing fans are so cruel.

Is because they're no boxing fans, they are haters that see every other fighter as crap if it isn't the only one they root for....(see Flow-mores, Pac-turds etc.)

Abner is a good fighter and has the potential to be one of the best but a little bit overrated for his age before the fight, just like Nacho, I feel sad to see the kid got KO'd to early in the fight.

Oscar and Richard just made Mares looked so bad with all the hype talk. Abner will be back for sure but those GBP people should really stop all the BS talk. Ortiz,Berto,Mares and who's next to go down Broner? Man, Oscar always falls short. Mares will definitely be back soon!

I think Mares is gonna have a tough time rebounding from this. He has a limited skill set and relies heavily on that blood-n-guts warrior crap. His sense of invincibility is gone. He might consider going back to Nacho to help him become a lil more defensively responsible.

They really are and it's a big problem in boxing. Because of these horrible fans, fighters don't want to take risks for fear of losing. Lack of risk = lack of drama and lack of a fight.

From a teacher to his student I'm sure it was painfull to watch! The KO is nothing to be ashamed of it happens and it happens often to Jhonnys opponents! The shots were on target and extremely meaningfull and Jhonny has proven himself for many years now! Mares will come back after deliberating on his career and I'd expect him to do very well in the future!
