canelo is bigger and will have a strength and power advantage. The question is will he be able to impose those advantages?

Canelo will have 15+ lbs on him so I think it's clear who's bigger.

Baldomir is also much bigger than Mayweather despite being shorter.

Mike Tyson is 5 ft 11.

Did you know 30 day weighins can easily be gamed? I only learned it when Ellerbe started accusing Alvarez of doing it. Sure hope Floyd lets them weigh him in fight night for once.

This only insures us that Floyd is going to be much faster then Canelo.

The size in Snake difference is the biggest. Canelo's snake is P4P.

He's already done it more than once. There is no mystery to it. But if you're trying to argue that they are the same weight that is downright silly.

lol@ some of the posts. Thats right, canelo does love his shoes haha. Well i think the reason i brought it up because i feel like some people think that canelo being the "bigger" fighter is giving him more of an advantage than people may think. What i mean is that canelo has less of the physical advantages of a de la hoya, where de la hoya was bigger, taller, longer reach, etc.

de la hoya was also having success early on with that jab, which i think was largely due to his size advantage (he always had a good jab i know) and even so mayweather took it away (plus he faded).

I just find the dynamic intriguing and I'm interested to see what canelo's gameplan will be come fight night. With Trout i think people were surprised with how he fought. He varied his attack, and even though not completely polished yet he showed some skill set that many didn't think he had (myself personally). General consensus was that he would have a come forward seek and destroy type approach

He still gets hit, and he fights only half the rounds and he'll be in there with the best. He gets better every fight though so we'll see where his learning curve is at 3 weeks from now
