remember, point to his losses all you want, but Maidana's will has never been broken, and he has fought some of the best. Who has Thurman fought?
you make good points,, not saying maidana is a bum,,, i just think we have a much clearer picture of him, than we do of thurman,, thurman is slowly improving with every fight,,,
I thought chavez was going to break thurman early in the fight, but thurman made adjustments and took care of business,, i was impressed with that learning curve

Let's just be honest and admit that nobody beats Floyd until a fighter happens to face him on the night he grows old. Either that or Thomas Hearns.

I think Floyd would do to him what he did to Gatti to be honest with you. Mismatch. Quillen, same thing.
floyd cant do what he did to gatti anymore,, he isnt in his 20s anymore, and if he could he would have gatti'ed guerrero and cotto

If those guys are mismatches then floyd should go to 160 and grab some belts to further enhance his legacy,,,

but floyd knows size matters and i doubt we ever see him above 154 TBH

I actually have no interest in floyd fighting at 160,,, he would look about as good as oscar did there,,,

Neither, bro. Just giving my honest opinion. GGG is overrated. Get back to me when he beats someone of note. The MW division is a joke. I think Ward and Floyd both make him look like a stiff.

I think Floyd showed he still has special skills against Guerrero, but he's become more risk adverse these days and unlike the way he fought Gatti (angry and motivated), I concede he doesn't fight like that anymore because he's too concerned with preserving his perfect record and staying healthy...but I still think he toys with GGG..but GGG, like any big puncher would have a "punchers chance."

And I don't think Floyd would look particularly well at 160 either, but I think his boxing skills and athleticism would be enough to outpoint anyone in that division. Floyd wouldn't run into trouble until he faced Ward at 168, imo.

We're talking about the same Kieth Thurman that just beat Diego Chaves? Dont get me wrong he did well, but it wasnt exactly an easy vicotry for him, I think he got a broken nose and he had a hard time in the early rounds. Not exactly an overwhelming victory. I knew Diego Chaves was tough and it is a good win, but I think that such a win alone elevating him to best man in the WW dividson is absolutely insane.
