I forgot all about that one. Where was Thurman when Floyd was dominating at 21 .

I like Thurman and I would pick him to win over any other welterweight except Mayweather and possibly Pacquiao depending on how Pacquiao looks in his next fight. He is young and improving so maybe he could defeat Mayweather later on. I think Mayweather is facing a real threat in three weeks.

Chino beats thurman to be honest... After Chino demolishes Broner .. and he will demolish him... Broner gonna make Chino look like the beastliest puncher in boxing, he will move on to try for the Mayweather shot.

and if Mayweather ages overnight, he could get caught. Imagine if Chino caught money may with that shot Mosley threw.. He wouldn't let him off the hook! Unlikely of course, because mayweather is more defensive minded now than he was against Mosley, but still.

A chino mayweather shot is coming, whether you like it or not.

chino would get beat up by thurman,,,,,

i like maidana,, but why does everyone think he is this top level guy,,, beating ortiz and losing to khan and alexander make you a top guy,,, not trying to knock chino, but i feel he is a good fighter not a great one,,,, let him beat broner, and thurman and i will adjust my opinion on him,, but until then, beating lopez and soto-karass in close fights isnt the makings of an elite fighter,,,

you give thurman credit for besting a relatively unproven guy...

but you don't give Chino credit for breaking a prime Ortiz? or Besting Karass and Lopez who have both proven themselves to be tenacious and worthy fighters?

He's had some hiccups along the way but the man is back and he's hungry. With improvements to his game, the heart of a lion, and bombs in his fists. Can't hate on that.
