I would hope that people just vote based on the facts as they see them and not on who they dislike more.

I picked Mares only because I respect what he did more, for me Nonito started off draining himself to pick on smaller guys.
But I am a fan of both and they are both great fighters.
If they ever fought I think Nonito has the better chance of winning, maybe even stopping Mares. Just my opinion.

          Donaire: Darchinyan, Montiel
          Mares: PDL, Moreno

I think Donaire edges Mares in the resume department, but Mares is looking great right now while Donaire has to regroup.

What the hell? Mares had a FOTY canidadate with Yohnny Perez, beat abit older Vic, and you ignorantly forgot Abegeko 2x who is one of his best wins.

Donaire beats the guy who beats the guy of the divisions he fought at.

Can't say the same for Mares.

                Nonito it is.

                  Donaire has

                  - Darchinyan who was top 12 P4p during the time he Ko him.
                  - Montiel who was top 8 P4p.
                  - then Bunch of Undefeated & former champs on his resume!

Mares best win was PDL? hahaha
-He lost to Darchinyan! Got a gift!

I only chose two wins from each fighter that I value most. Mares has been putting on his best performances recently imo.
