Broner just failed to do that already. Instead of a solid win against what should have been an easy win against Maliggnagi he struggled and stole the guys belt with a SD.
To legitimize the undeserved hype he has he should dominate Maidana and KO him before round 6. That would be living up to the hype. But we all know that's not going to happen. Hes small, has little boxing skill, poor defense and doesnt exactly pack a punch.
An ealry KO on Maidana would be a good start, but then he would have to win a fight over a real champ at 140 or 147, again, instead of stealing a belt with a SD from the weakest champ he could find, jumping and avoiding the dangerous fighters like he did.

He's already legit. He needs to just fight the best welterweights.

        Guerrero, Thurman, Alexander, Bradley, etc.

            Let them have their fun.

They hype up these flat footed , slow power punchers and get pissed when they step up and get picked apart. It's like people forgot how Alexander schooled this guy.

He's not an amazing beast but he'd be far and beyond the best fighter Broner will have fought.

              He's much better than DeMarco.

DeMarco's best win is John Molina or Linares.

                Thats wonderful.

Hes more proven, cong****. But my point remains hes not that good and hes no better than DeMarco. Hes not. Maidana is a terrible fighter. Bro.

Go with the eye test. You ever seen him fight? He blows.
