    He probably acts dumber than he is. Not too smart in the ring though.

      He is certainly low on the boxing IQ list but he also rates low on the boxing wisdom list, how many times can you make the same mistakes without taking some personal accountability and doing something about it.

      Fighting in a dumb manner is one thing but him failing to realize what he is doing wrong is by far his worst attribute.

        He is not that smart in the ring or in his choice of trainers and what weight class to fight in but I'm sure there are other fighters with lower boxing I.Q.s than Khan. He looked better under Roach than he does under Hunter. He said he was weak at 140 and could not punch as hard or take a punch at that weight. So why didn't he move up to 147 long ago? There was nothing stopping him from going to 147 if he really was KOing welterweights and taking their best punches in sparring when he was heavier.
