Andre Berto has a pretty damn low boxing iq, keeps losing in similar ways and doesn't change a damn thng, at least Amir tries to learn.

And at least Amir knows he doesn't have great defensive reflexes and now keeps his hands up. Don't forget, Amir is still very young.

Berto on thenother hand, still hasn't learned he's not Floyd mayweather.

instead he should take a page out of wlad klitschko's book and work on a style that suits his attributes

even though he can't take a punch he's got plenty of natural talent to compensate for it unless he really is that effing ****** which I also believe he is
Yes Khan is no doubt thick he's got zero humility as well which is why a lot of people dislike him, he h#still hasn't transitioned from the amateur style and had way too much hype surrounding him when he entered the pro ranks. It would have been better if he had more pro fights under the radar to build up his experience. instead of beating cab drivers in the beginning on itv and believing his own hype.

Khan's smarter than that, he has outboxed good boxers.
And Berto has got to be there!

That's the hand that rios etc are dealt with. They fight like that because they probably lack the reflexes that better boxers have their biggest assets and their chins and punching power. I don't think they are ******.

Khan has such athletic gifts probably the fastest hands in boxing today and his feet are hardly slow. Decent power in both hands in terms of Boxing IQ he doesn't use those gifts the way he could. He is relatively tall at the weight and has a great jab he has the capacity to fight like Wlad and avoid punishment but fights like a bit like Paul Williams instead.

I'm not sure if he is the ******est world class boxer out there but he certainly isn't clever in boxing terms.

I don't think he could fight like wlad...wlad has exceptionally long arms even for his height...khan is a tall lww-ww but he doesn't tower over his opponents to be able to keep them out of punching range

khan would be better suited using his natural speed, similar to how ray leonard used to use his timing and speed to confuse and overwhelm opponents....khan right now lacks proper understanding of the concept of timing, has little head movement and is a rather statonary target

I'm sure hunter is telling him these things but khan doesn't seem to be able to process them in an actual fight

in his own way, khan is just as one dimensional as rios and kirkland. it was his speed and range that won the fights against kotelnik, malignaggi and judah, not his boxing brain.

No, I would say Khan and Berto are in the same boat. Khan still lunges in, eats the same counter left hook, gets caught with overhand rights because he backs up straight with his chin in the air, and he throws too many combinations. Have you ever seen Khan duck under a punch? How rare is that....

He's the most frustratingly ****** fighter. Because you know he could do better.

Guys like Cristobal Nipple and Bum Bum Rios are what they are, they can't really do anything else than what they already do.

Khan has so many physical gifts and so much natural talent but he fights in a way which doesn't utilise it to its full potential.

I don't think he's the dumbest fighter out there. He's just a different fighter once he's tired or hurt. Which most fighters are. Usually the first 4 rounds or so he's always game.
