    • Boxing fans have such short memories, can you remember the brian kenny interview with mayweather where he got at him for not fighting mosley on his return, heck after the marquez fight Kellerman in the post fight interview said he should fight Mosley. There was even that infamous mayweather interview with that DJ where he accused mayweather of ducking mosley Outside of the pacquiao fight the Mosley fight was THE most legit. He was lineal champ, coming off a huge win against margarita, all boxing writers wanted that fight. There were countless threads about how pacquiao and mayweather were ducking mosley and even when mayweather took the fight, there were threads about how he was forced into taking the fight and he didnt really want it! 3 years is not that long people....lets not re-write history. Mosley did turn out to be shot, which is fair enough, so you can discredit the win to a certain extent but that fight was a very very legitimate fight at the time.

I can understand if a fan doesn't like Money personality...i admit it is over the top and he has crossed the line MANY, MANY, TIMES...but a true fan of the sport CANNOT downplay the man abilities in the ring. he is a master in the squared ring and that cannot be denied.

Outside the ring, the man wasawful (using the word "was" because he seem to have changed since his prison release).

You claim to like Mandingo but he is constantly in legal trouble and at least Money gives back to his friend by providing jobs, gives to charities, does Thanksgiving drives, donates books...all the stuff that Mandingo does do.

But alas, it not anyone right to change your opinion on Money the person, that your opinion and you are entitled to it (calling him a MONEY is RACIST) but if you are a fan of boxing, you MUST appreciate MONEY in that ring.
I get what you're saying but you can not like floyd in the ring still not be racist. i love boxing, i love the skill and the war aspect both, floyd is very talented of course, but its tough to know how good he really is, he picks his fights so carefully. he never fought cotto, margs, williams, mosley at WW in their prime when he was also at WW. He never fought pac in his prime, other than oscar he never took a real step up big in weight fight, like may other great boxers have. He plays it safe. Sugar Ray Robinson would have moved up to fight a prime Martinez, he would have fought those guys at WW and would be fighting Canelo at 154.I like talented guys that like to mix it up not talented guys that play it safe. That being said I understand floyds style and would be okay with it but he chooses his fights the same way he fights in the ring and that is just too much.

            • You can always tell when a Floyd fight is < a month off...

Nobody brings them out of the woodwork like Floyd can.

                EXPLAIN GAMENESS
Gameness is a state of mind and gameness is as gameness does , for instance a foxhound can track and chase a quarry until it drops dead that's a form of gameness because that is what he was bred to do , follow game and not give in until catching it , a racehorse turning for home that tries harder when another horse heads him in the straight is a form of gameness , then you have a pit bull that will fight to the death and go back to the fight even though it knows it is being killed , most performance animals that are game are winners in what ever field you put them , man selectively breeds for gameness in all things in life especially under competition , because the true meaning of gameness is the will to win , the will conquer the task .

In a fight gameness is exactly the same in humans as it is in animals , most people have no clue about how real gameness works and will automatically link and blur aggression with it , thinking an aggressive boxer is game , , whether its pit bulls , fighting ****s , or man , they 2 are different traits the only difference we have over animals concerning traits , is the intelligence to manipulate the inherited traits that we were born with , we do that by learning the task to the tenth degree then we don't fear the unknown , but you got to realize these inherited traits are even there before you can learn to manipulate them .

In people and animals deep gameness is born , but learning and understanding the task at hand will make a guy gamer than a guy with no understanding of what he is getting in for , gameness is not being ****** and getting beat to death for the sake of it , its a trait in boxers that can be hidden under a style were people think a slugger that takes a beating is game , in a prize ring that can be not from born gameness , but come from a state of mind that he don't want to let his friends and family think he was a quitter and those thoughts make him appear game taking that beating , its only that the beating was under his threshold , put the same guy in a dark ally on his own with no spectators , 2 big fellas jump out and king hit him , he hit the deck with a broken nose and never been hit like that before , jumps and bolts ...

So in the end gameness boils down to the will to dominate , the will to win , if you take it to extremes everybody will quit , you only got to keep pounding away enough to break them down more and more without taking them out , its a time thing and everybody has a limit , and when you step over it and have the choice to quit 99.9% will quit .

How many people would have thought Chavez snr would quit , but watch that fight against Oscar and you see a man at his threshold , look at KT when he quit and read his face you got a spent soul right there .

Is Floyd deep game , probably not to taking a beat down where he is beat mentally and physically where his mind thinks he cant win and he is truly beat , yes he will quit just like anyone else that hits that zone in his mind , but that doesn't mean he is not as game as Manny he could be more so when tested , because of his brilliant boxing ability has meant that Floyd is not put in the position to have to see his threshold , what happens then is as Floyd developed so to has his gameness because his mind is so strong now , that's the power of an unbeaten mindset .

I haven't seen a single thing from Floyd that makes me think he will quit , so far the guy has showed enough for me to think he will stand for a firefight if he has to , to do that you got to be able to get past his ability to get him into that firefight and that's what opponents have so failed to do .

So if you think Floyd is a coward and somebody will just beat him up and he folds like a deck of cards , your in dreamland kid and have so much to learn have a think about some of this stuff .

Naseem Richardson thinks Floyd is game , he knows what Im talking about , the part of his interview where he coments on what he thinks will happen when Floyd gets hit , he mentions fire breathing dragons , it probably went over your head .

That's my take on gameness , whats yours ?

Because he had to. But I do respect he took the Castillo rematch, however that **** was pretty much a draw. Floyd took no risks in that fight like he's never taken a risk since. Well, he did open up and take a risk against Chop Chop Corley before getting his chin checked.
