Golovkin is a solid fighter but nothing wow's me about him other than his power

Just watched the fight with him and Rosado, and yes I know he had the flu but still I don't see anything from Golovkin that gives me the wow factor, yes he has tremendous power, yes he is strong but he's not as talented as the likes of Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez or Canelo who would beat him p4p. When you watch those guys they have attributes that really catch your attention and make you go wow!! Golovkin is a nice likeable dude but he just doesn't wow me. People on this forum get too carried away with punchers I guess.

Canelo has a great ring IQ for his age, great defense, lateral movement, head movement, handspeed etc.

                Maybe you just prefer welterweights?

Ha no, I think GGG is hampered by his weight class, the MW isn't exactly the leading division atm, but he's a great fighter none the less.

Personally I would like to see him against a hard chinned fighter who will test him for the full 12 rounds. Rugged fighters like Chavez Jr, Rubio, Bika, etc. come to mind. Lemieux had a lot of hype until he faced such an opponent. GGG fought an old shot Ouma (hard chinned fighter who won't wilt under pressure) and went life and death with him for 10 hard rounds.

You say you see nothing special in Golovkin, but compare Pacquaio, Mayweather and Marquez to god damn Canelo Alvarez? You smokin' crack?

Golovkin is a very talented boxer, and he's not a puncher, he's an intelligent boxer. Do you think you get a 345-5 amatuer record by being a **** boxer? The fact you think he's just a puncher says it all, and the fact you use the Rosado fight (which Golovkin destroyed him in) as a measuring stick is ******.
