Deontay Wilder fights bums for a good reason

He has fought bums and at 27 has developed some bad habits which will be hard to iron out without a really good trainer and some frankly better competition to punish those mistakes so he knows he can't continue with them.
I don't think he will ever be a good fighter, his biggest and frankly only asset IMO is his huge right hand. It is devastating but aside from that he is lacking in every other area.Comment

The dude has less than 60 total fights (unless I'm mistaken), amateur and pro combined. He beat a former olympian and title holder in his last two fights, I think they are stepping him up gradually but at an appropriate pace for his limited experience.Comment

Golovkin isn't fighting nobodies either, Proksa and Macklin were both top 10 MWs when he fought them.
There are some issues first that Wilder must pass before we'll know how good he can be. He needs to be chin checked, he does not appear to have an exceptionally strong jawline or neck and is very light for his height, no legs. Doesn't always mean **** but if he has a weak chin he will need to become something of a defensive master like Wlad or Lewis to survive at the top.Comment

Yeah at 22. Wilder is 28 this Autumn (Fall) and hasn't fought even opponents on the level of Miguel Vasquez or Lovemore N'Dou.

He has been chin-checked, he went down.
He must have the best resume at MWComment

Leave the bias J, Wilder hasn't fought the HW equivalent of #7 Macklin, that would be an Helenius or Chagaev.Comment

When Mora fought Proksa I guarantee he wasn't the same Proksa anymore. Even though it was only 2 fights ago I think Golovkin ruined him.
Golovkin has the better resume over Wilder.
there is a reason why he is considered close to the top 10 p4p while Wilder is not.Comment

Proksa was a very good fighter when Golovkin. He took some big shots from Golovkin and his courage kept making him get up and continue to fight.
