Yeah, when Barker was dropped they initially called it as a low blow. Still, I prefer them to boxnation who are just ridiculous.

Looks like Gary Shaw got some options on Barker in order to make the fight.
Have always hated deals like that. In order to get a shot you have to sign with someone you wouldn't otherwise want having control over your career.

Geale thinks he won and wants a re-match? Most think otherwise, He has peaked in the division and should stay down under.

That's one thing I can't stand about British boxing commentators, they can't withhold there bias, they just wouldn't stfu about Barker, so annoying, much prefer HBO by far.

I think Geale still has a bit more to give, fights with the likes of Quillin would definitely be exciting.

I personally had Barker winning it 7-5, giving him 2 of the last 3 rounds. In all honesty, it was a close fight but I couldn't imagine it being scored for Geale, he just wasn't strong enough down the stretch.

But what a come back by Barker, that body shot looked like it ended him but he actually came back strong at the end of that same round. Barker put in a world champion's performance.

It would be fucking hilarious if Barker asks him to fight and beat GGG first if he wants a rematch & his belt back.

Do it Barker, DO IT !!

Geale didn't win that fight, and it's questionable he beat Sturm/Sylvester. Geale deserved this loss more than anyone. All his talk and ridiculous haircut makes him look even worse.

Barker was busier and won more rounds. Props to Barker for surviving the body shot. I can see why Martinez had trouble with him. It was a great fight and Geale has no shame in losing this fight.

Geale was basically outworked by Barker after the 6th round -- Barker seemed more determined -- Geale is a solid all around fighter but doesn't do any one thing really well to be a top tier guy

i have to admit i thought geale just edged it, based on hurting barker a few times and landing the cleaner counter shots.
