It was very entertaining but anyone who thinks either guy wouldn't get killed against Golovkin is lying to themselves or plain ****** so calling themself a Champion while being unwilling to fight the best makes it farcical.

Its an exciting division but getting the best to fight each other is all down to politics.

I'd like to see Chavez vs GGG, winner takes on Martinez.

Geale might take that Golovkin fight in Monaco now he has no title, at 32 he's not getting any younger.

Should probably get a win first. I see an Adama rematch or a trilogy with Mundine

I hope so especially with Sturm in line as Barker's mandatory although a domestic Soliman money fight is likely. Fighting Geale in Monaco 5 or 6 weeks after Stevens is a quick turnaround especially if its not on HBO. If it did happen it would probably be early next year.

Yes, who else? Martinez didn't have a good showing in his last fight, but his claim to MW kingship has not been deteriorated. That's not to say GGG isn't the next man at MW, or that he wouldn't beat Martinez, but currently Sergio is still the man at MW and GGG is #2.

Having only one world champion (instead of 4 or more) would remove this problem from the sport.

Sadly that's probably never going to happen.

And even if it did I could still see certain fighters being content to make money in their home countries fighting as contenders. Instead of risking a loss against a tough champion.

Do you think GGG would almost get KTFO by a pothead bum who went life and death with Zbik and Rubio? Do you think GGG would almost get KTFO by Martin Murray and only get a gift decision over him? Do you think GGG would have been stopped by Margarito? Do you think GGG would only just manage to outpoint an almost-died-from-alcohol-poisoning Kelly Pavlik? Do you think GGG would get dropped by Macklin and just manage to stop him in the 11th? lolw8...
