And that's excluding Mares and Donaire who basically lived their whole lives in the states.
The US still has P4P the best boxers in the world at the moment.

I'm reporting Earl for this just cause I know about 50 of you jackasses would report me for creating the exact same thread.
Bostonguy would probably ban me for it too.
I was thinking about starting a thread myself asking if the next decade of boxing will see British fighters getting knocked out by words at the weigh in.

I think the highest problem is how we develop and market our fighters.
In general we have about the right amount of success considering how popular it is over here (not very), but we seem to constantly push average fighters forward for no apparent reason and try and make out they are great, then when they step up they get exposed. Meanwhile it takes years and years for genuinly good fighters like froch to fight their way through the ranks and get recognition.
Also we don't match our fighters up tough enough in the early years, preferring instead to build hype with 10-15 complete mismatches. I'm reading Sugar Ray Leonards auto biography atm and his early fights were tough as hell, and he was under no illusions how tough the game was going to be because of it. Early fights should be about learning the sport, not just building hype.
But in general like i said we do as well as our population size and popularity of the sport allows us too. Cleverly losing and Barker winning last night is perfect example.

not too shabby
I'll give you some credit though - I couldn't have brainstormed a post as devoid of facts and logic as yours if I dedicated 24 straight hours to it.
Your ability to separate yourself from reality is positively supernatural.

Talk about Jeff Lacy and they will tell you how they were there in Cardiff, wrapped in a Welsh flag, cheering for their beloved English brother Joey Zags.
