Actually you are probably right there also. I seemed to have shamefully overlooked the Mexicans who have always been regarded as having great chins. Ruiz didn't apply but all others certainly

Coming back to the Brits, chins aside, talent wise we are forced to admit that the brits have produced some of the most effective fighters.

Lennox Lewis possible the greatest HW of all time
David Haye, 2nd best hw in the world today
    Tyson Fury, Top contender
    Prince Naseem Hameed- stellar boxer.

What should be recognized as a blatant troll/bait thread will soon turn into a half a dozen or so fat yanks deriding and dismissing any notable British boxer as a way of comforting themselves over the current, piss-poor state of boxing in the United States

+1 on both points although alot of Mexicans do have prominant cheekbones too.

Not that many though to make a definitive statement.

What can be said though is certain American heavies like McCall, Puritty, Holyfield, Marion Wilson have truly iron chins.

Today the Slavic boxers have the strongest chins in boxing, I believe they have a tougher facial bone structure and jawline than Caucasians of the british stock and are better conditioned. But again ironically the champion Wladimir Klitschko has bucked this trend and seems to have average chin. Below average for a HW his size.
Trying my best not sound like a snob, but your grammar and comprehension ability made that last post almost illegible.

Sorry Naps I will try to sound more like a true Australian! lol

To the fella just above, you're right. It's most likely an attempt by US fans to get the pressure off the poor state of American boxers at the moment and put it on the British who in fact are trying to produce good fighters and are doing very well!

Tony Thompson aside, he's a good HW. However he is past prime now and sadly is still the best proven HW from the US atm. Wilder has the power but fights pensioners and bums and needs to work on a little more skills than just his windmilling tactics.

Wow, if I'd known a backwards novice had started this thread I'd never have responded earlier.

Close this thread mods, Aussies are a complete waste of everyone's time.
