SO what if floyd makes so much more than Manny. Manny is not entitled to anything. Floyd took the risk of leaving TR and creating his payment package. why does he have to make up for manny's unwillingness to do same?

I thought Lampley made an excellent point about Kovalev on Saturday. He took short money to fight Cleverley on the road knowing that a win would pay dividends later. Floyd and others have done the exact same thing. WHy can't manny do same?

I agree the $40 mil w/ no ppv was a bull**** offer. but grustler is absolutely right-manny has never made that much before as the main draw and never will.

Damn thread still going strong. Like I always say, I like both fighters. I think both Arum/pac and Mayweather had something to do with the fight not happening. And yes BOTH walked away from the fight, why? BOTH was not happy with the terms for the fight. Example Arum wanted to build a stadium, Pac not accepting the FIRST offer of terms. Floyd ever changing offers, one in particular is the 40mil but ZERO percent of the PPV buys. Not alot of people points out "ZERO percent of ppv buy" part when saying "Pac walked away from 40mil"

Then it shouldn't be a big deal now. manny is also making less to fight rios than he did to fight Cotto so clearly something didn't work.

Manny wants the fight on his terms. Floyd wants the fight on his terms. Both could give some ground. But Grustler isn't totally off base.

One is the bigger earner that has a payment package and deal that provides him a larger percentage of the money.
