You're one of the main ones who lack knowledge.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, just coz your a boxing purist doesn't mean everyone else has to be. People are allowed to enjoy different aspects of the sport. Boxing has been refined to a sweet science over many years however at it's core it is about two guys going into combat against each other and seeing who is the best and guess what, sometimes the slugger triumphs over the most technical boxer.

Im actually a fan of all combat sport including boxing but even in MMA us fans have a saying for wrestlers that just sit on their opponent and staul so they can win the round on points. It's called lay and Pray so even in MMA fight fans hate boring ass fighters no matter how good their technique is.

                Ill agree with OP!

If you want to see two guys just brawl...go to the nearest bar and start a fight.

Plain and simple. I can appreciate defense, offense, and overall aggressiveness..but some one who uses his face as his defense? Come'on bra! You are on the wrong sport!

Floyd, Rigo, and others just dont get enough credit! They will take 90% of all boxers to school!

                My .02!

Your getting mad at ppl who criticize fighters who choose box but then u go and criticize the fighters who fight aggressively n come forward all night. Smh

Thats fine but why cant you use your IQ to finish and hurt your opponent? Being safety first doesn't mean you are smarter especially when i've seen that style back fire on plenty of boxers when they lose fights simply because the other guy was more active!
