Why All The Hate for Max Kellerman?

I could never have respect for somebody that has never been in a ring and taken a punch or two as a commentator, that's just me! You could have tons of historical data to spit out but you will never have the fighters perspective!

Max Kellerman doesn't like British boxers. He's never given our better ones like Lennox, Hatton, and Calzaghe any credit at all.

He has said numerous times he will favor Lennox Lewis over Wladimir Klitschko on his radio show.

I generally like max regardless of the butt licking he offers at random sometimes i think announcers shouldn't voice their love for fighters or prospect so prominently at least not during fight broadcasts but still beats the fk out of listening to Larry Merchant go on one of his nonsense 5 minute rants about nothing.

Kellerman is bright and articulate and I'd like to see him move over to Showtime. HBO is borderline irelevant these days, imo. Especially when Pac isn't fighting.

Lampley's "**** ****" fanboy bs with Pac was way worse than anything Max ever said or did on the air. and Roy Jones Jr. isn't nearly as energetic as Max...and Larry is gone, and so is Emanuel who were decent.

Conclusion - Max is the best boxing voice remaining at HBO and if HBO is smart they'll lock him up to a contract before Showtime steals him.
