Yeah, that's what I don't get. If Arum indeed has this magical authority to rig fights, then Marquez losing is the more advantageous scenario in Arum's favor. JMM winning will even make Arum's Pac/JMM 5 more difficult to make.

          THIS is the common-sense truth.

From the last thread addressing this same issue:

              Why?

It means that they can set up a Bradley - Pacquiao 2 match. It's much more likely they can secure that fight. Manny would have validation, that he beat the guy who recently defeated him. Tim would could change minds and wash away that stain of the first fight.

If Marquez wins - they probably won't have anything to do with him. Marquez doesn't want to fight Manny and might even retire, after securing another championship under his belt. All things point to a Bradley victory being more profitable for Top Rank.

(please note I paraphrased the thread title. Start at 2:10 for the exact quote.)
I want him to lose to, you have a problem with that ?

Will there be 24/7 for this fight?

Don't see how this helps Arum.
                    If Marquez wins, then what?
He sure as hell won't fight Pacquiao again.
Marquez losing gives Bob the most leverage.

That makes sense. If Bradley beat Marquez, even if it was a gift, Pacquiao-Bradley 2 is a lot less risky for Manny and he has the opportunity to get "revenge" over Marquez indirectly by beating Bradley again. If there's one thing Bradley proved in his last fight, it's that he can take some incredible shots and still somehow survive the fight.
