Good fight. They'll probably want to let it build though.

Yeah like Cleverly and Calzaghe were ever alike...

and Cornelius White is what? Kovalev is just that good.

I hope Stevenson beats Cloud, JUST so Kovalev-Stevenson could happen.

Weebler, I find it hard to be impressed with the victory because of Clev's performance. He came in, offered little resistance and caught a beat-down. So much for the hype he was getting. Kovalev disposed of him effortlessly. Clev looked like a paper titlist.

I am one happy man tonight i tell you, seeing Clev get mangled in Wales no less, a quality scrap in Enzo vs Mckenzie and a sensational one punch KO upset from Beefy!

What I'm trying to get across to you is that is likely how most of Kovalev's opponents will fare. Campillo beat Cloud and lasted 3 rounds with Kovalev.

Let's be clear, Cleverly usually lands a huge number of punches. He couldn't even throw tonight, why? because of Kovalev. It's like Macklin v Golovkin, sometimes the other guy is just on another level.

Cleverly gave himself no chance to win with the way he was fighting. Kovalev did his job and pounded on the heavy-bag in front of him until he pulverized it. I'm glad that Kov won, but I'm pissed that Clev did nothing. I expected a competitive bout between two undefeated LHWs, so I'm disappointed.

                    Just finished watching the fight.

Kovalev has showed in both the Campillo fight and this fight that his power is absolutely legit.

He's like a good version of Cloud.

He would knock Stevenson into next week.

Again you're putting Cleverly on Kovalev's level. They aren't on the same level, Kovalev is potentially a top 5 PFP fighter, maybe even top 3. I'm not sure why you expected it to be competitive.

Cleverly fought his fight, he wasn't particularly smart but he's good enough to beat most of the Ring's top 10, he has beaten two of them, he's not bum.
