We have fair judges but **** refs.
Kovalev will be KO'd Saturday, two words why....

I really can't think
In fact the only times in recent memory I can recall a fighter coming over here and getting a stoppage win was Katsidis vs Mitchell, Prescott vs Khan, Thompson vs Price & Wilder vs Harrison.
Its ridiculous. I really can not even think of a single time in recent times a fighter has got a decision over here

William Hill ain't taking for the under/over, I'll hold out and see if they do.
Cleverly via stoppage is 6/1 though, normally I'd stay clear but with Terry O' Connor as the ref I think I may go for that as an attempted cover.
Just better hope Cleverly doesn't get a decision
Oh really? Dang... that's usually the first one up for 5dimes and we don't get props there till the day of or the week of.
Cleverly will bob and Weave, O'Connor will sense an incoming onslaught and stop the fight before it happens... HeroComment

Ohh yea... recently.... I have no idea.
One fight that happened recently that made me go wild was Choi vs Simpson.
Choi fights out of Manchester and still got screwed over.
Choi was knocking Simpson across the ring and still lost a decision.
Surprise surprise... guess who was one of the judges?
O'connor didn't have the worst card... but still, wtf.Comment

The way Kovalev lets his hands go, I doubt the ref will be put in a situation to get involved. It is concerning though.Comment

If he rests for even a second, all Cleverly has to do is pitty pat him and O'Connor will take the cue.
Kovalev has to be throwing punches every minute of every round.Comment

I watched that fight and it sickened me too. I think it was in Scotland though but it ruined what was a damn good fight.
Choi is a credit to the sport and has done so much for British boxing over the years, it p1ssed me off seeing him get robbed like that. That could of been his break. The scorecards wasn't even close either (not like they should of been; Choi beat the **** out of Simpson)
Another that really annoyed me recently was the stoppage in the Maccarinelli vs McKenzie fight. Was actually impressed with Enzo for once, boxing smart then that happened.Comment

Couldn't agree more with this.
The judging in this country has been fair over the years, with decisions going in favour of the likes of Bradley and co.
The refereeing on the other hand is below par at times, don't get me wrong, you get refs like that all over the place but the likes of Connor can take the piss. What with Edwards refereeing in the recent heavyweight bout between Chisora and Scott.
In all honesty, to the letter of the law, what Edwards did that night was right, Scott tried jumping up at 9.9 lol but at times like this common sense is required in the ring, Scott looked ok, a slight bit stunned but that happens in a sport when the other guy is punching you, Edwards should have let it gone seeing that he hadn't yet reached 10.
In all sports but most importantly boxing, common sense needs to prevail.Comment
