    Of course.

He's headig toward 37 years of age and has been a pro for 17 years.

He's not going to be in his prime or he same fighter he was when he was 25.

        To be quite simple, Yes.

He doesn't have the speed and agility to pull of skills he had at one time. However he is matured and his ring IQ is now his biggest weapon. The man has unchallenged knowledge in that ring.

other than that Floyd's looked just fine
he coulda finished Guerrero if he felt like it, dude had 0 answers
but that was mental not physical
But Floyd was overtrained against Cotto. He looked utterly washed up. He stared directly at Cotto's slow punches, as they landed on him. Against Ghost, he looked supremely conditioned. During the training camp for the Cotto fight, every interview his team did, spoke about him doing too much. Floyd later admitted that he failed he may have been overtrained. Against Ghost, Floyd Sr said on the FIRST day of camp, he noticed Floyd doing too much. So he told Floyd to let his body rest more, and to me, he looked like he hadnt trained that disciplined in years. He was more lightfooted than when he fought Judah, Ortiz, Mosley, Oscar etc. He looked like he did at the lower weights against guys like Genero and Diego, when he was forced to use footspeed to get in and out on taller guys. He was in shape for that against Ghost who I knew Floyd had to use footwork, and turn Ghost as he came forward.

Of course. He does not dance anymore. That was a big part of Floyd's game. He's made up for it in other departments, but his movement is dead. Floyd's defense has actually gotten better with age.

of course he shows his age. just look at his fights at 130 and 135, and even his early work at 147.

signs of aging don't relegate you to mediocrity. great fighters adjust. as he's aged he's gotten off of his toes more. against cotto he was on the ropes, obviously not by design. it's a more fan friendly style, imo.

i think 2007 mayweather handles 2013 mayweather rather easily if that's what you're asking.

he's the same as he's ever been at welter, given that he fights more conservatively
although his power and strenght have improved by a good margin

one thing that has declined is the endurance of his legs
