slow ass Cotto landed way more than he was supposed to
that was an indicator of aging, but that's all
other than that Floyd's looked just fine
he coulda finished Guerrero if he felt like it, dude had 0 answers
but that was mental not physical

Floyd was born to fight and does not rely on 1 thing,it isnt his speed, nor his power or just his defense that beats you..it is the intangibles, his mental aspect that takes everything away from you. What he has lost physically he has gained mentally.

wouldnt call Cotto slow, and he is know to have great timing on his jab and thats really all he landed.Floyd could not pull counter his jab because Cotto steps in with his jab

Definitely lost some speed and doesn't move around as much as he used to.

This thread is very original. I haven't seen a few similar threads like this one posted on here lately. And to answer your question, yes, he has showed signs of aging. He doesn't throw the left hook with the same quick sharp release as he once did years ago and his reflexes aren't as sharp as they once were.

Appreciably? Can't say I've seen it.

Floyd stood in the pocket that's why Cotto landed more and Cotto was very strong in that fight , don't you remember Roach and everybody saying Floyds legs are shot he cant move any more , that is until he showed their was nothing wrong with his legs lol , he said against Ortiz Mosley and Cotto he will stand toe to toe , he did and when he boxes and moves they don't tough him .

He's not as fluid as before, doesn't throw those lightning fast 3 + punch combos. He's not as light on his feet either and the Guerrero fight doesn't prove much because he would have beat Guerrero like Gatti if he was 27.

Offensively he is not as good. He is slower too. Though his defense has improved and mentally I bet he has improved as well, knowing the game more and all. He actually seems to hit harder now, some of the shots he threw in the Guerrero fight looked SHARP but thats probably due to him throwing one punch at a time hence more power in each shot
