Do you believe God gives a fighter strength?

Many fighters give thanks to god saying he/she/it gave him the strength to win, some of them talk about if "it's in god's plans" this and that. Do you guys believe in mixing God with boxing? Personally I don't think God gives anybody the strength to beat somebody up period. What do you guys think?

      there is no god
training, good corners, and will power give a fighter strength
that thanking god crap after fights sounds lame as hell
guess god's sleeping every time one of those guys loses

Fighters should praise their team and their hard work after wins tyrannasaurousjebus has nothing to do with it.

I (a Christian) think that the mention of God by an athlete should be handled with wisdom and discretion -- and too often it isn't. The Bible says that "every good gift comes from the Father" (James 1:17) -- so yes, God gives fighters their strength ultimately -- BOTH of them. LOL But I don't like it when an athlete seems to use God as hardly more than a good luck charm! Make sense?

Belief is important in competition. Belief in yourself. Those who believe in God believe God gives them strength or ability. Those who dont believe in God still believe in their own strength and ability.

Its all about mental conditioning. Some just use their religious faith.

God is just a belief system man uses as a crutch , believe in yourself that's all you need .

                NO

God has much more important things to do than decide who wins in broner vs maidana or floyd v canelo

I have Faith in God. Idk if he helps a fighter a win. Id even say he doesnt. Thanking him for youre blessings is a good thing though.
