Em is better than Jay. Reasonable doubt is dope but Eminem is way more consistent and is the better lyricist in general. Jay Z is a commercial fool. As I said, check out the Jay and L freestyle and you'll see that Jay-Z can't rap for **** when he comes up against a real lyricist. Also, Nas is one of my favourite artists but like both Jay and Em he fell off quite a bit especially after his first 2 albums. However it's ironic that Jay Z calls out Nas for this as he was garbage after his first few albums too!

This was when Jay Z was dope, but he gets absolutely murdered lyrically on this track. It's not eminem but it does highlight Jay Z's limits as an emcee.

I'm trying to figure out the analogy but I can't. I don't see how Jay Z relate to Eminem other than they both rap. I don't think they've ever had any kind of rivalry. I can't even see the analogy of Mayweather being the Jay Z in his rivalry with Pacquiao. Jay Z is well respected for his rap game and business sense. Not too many people give Mayweather that same respect even though his accomplishment are about the same when you look at it objectively. I can't even begin to understand how that would make Pacquiao Eminem.
