Adamek. Wilder has a serious power and size advantage but if anyones known for going rounds it's Adamek in the HW division.

I think Wilder had fought too many bad fighters his progress is so stagnant because he is so determined to take guys out early that he has neglected every other aspect of his game. He will not get very far.

Agreed. Adamek will give Wilder a difficult style, southpaw too, it would be interesting to see how Wilder would go about fighting Adamek.

        Adamek's not a Southpaw.

Oh wow, for a second I was thinking of the style of the African boxer who outpointed Chambers recently.

I don't know before Adamek I'd say Guinn but he looked like he wanted out against Adamek by the end! It's sink or swim time now. He's going to have to take Mitchell/Arreola I think. I'd say it'd be Arreola but I didn't see Arreola losing to Stiverne so who knows what the titmare will do.

Wilder needs to stay away from people with a pulse,,,

the likes of adamek, chisora, fury, thompson, banks, are way too risky to put wilder in there.....

I think he needs to fight mitchell after he gets ko's by aerrelo, a david price, maybe the guy who just lost to andy ruiz,, i forget his name....

If wilder looks good there,, then go for the bigger names..

but just putting him in with actual ranked guys, when wilder has never been past 4 would be career suicide at the worst and career russian roulette at the best....

The guy needs a decent sc**** before just putting him in there with the ranked guys...
How do we know he wont gas horrible after 4 and get ko'd....That would be the end of the hype train for him....
He needs to slowly work his way up

I was going to say Chris Arreola but I think the point here is to find somebody to get him ready for fighters like Arreola.

If it's rounds you really want - and IYO that's the most sensible next move - I'd go with Adamek. However, that's what Liakhovich was supposed to do (LOL), who had never been stopped before round 9! Personally, if I were managing Deontay, I'd go for it (i.e. the highest-ranked opponent possible) if I could. He's not nor will ever be a finesse fighter anyway. His strength is his strength -- and it is fearsome. Can you really blame any top ten HW for not having any excitement about scheduling The Bronze Bomber?!

But he is still raw, and cant seem to get any rounds under his belt,,, 29 fights and never been past 4.....

I think Wilder needs to get some rounds in before challenging any ranked heavy,,,,

there was talk about wilder vs chisora but chisora has much more experience in like half the fights,,
Before wilder steps up the competition, he needs to go at least 8 rounds a few times,,
But he ko's every handpicked guy in under 4 everytime,,, Nobody seems to be able to take that power,,,,

I think there is only one guy that wilder can fight and give him rounds,,

                      That man is JAMES TONEY......

Toney may be fat and old, but he has never been stopped and will give wilder rounds,,,plus he wont pose that much of a threat to wilder, and even if wilder doesnt ko toney, deontay should win easily on points,,,

I think wilder-toney is the next logical step for wilder,,,

he ko's everyone vs the hall of famer thats never been stopped
toney is shot to bits and was dropped by a sam peter jab. hes gone even more downhill since then. would just be another quickie for wilder. mariusz wach would be a guy who isn't dangerous but could give wilder some rounds. that guys chin is the size of a volkswagon
