Hardcore fan? Since December 2, 2000. That was the night that Félix Trinidad fought Fernando Vargas. I was not the same after watching that.

By the way, Pacquiao gave Ledwaba a merciless beating. To me, it's one of the most brutal sustained beatings I have seen. Ledwaba was destroyed, and the thing is that Pacquiao was supposed to be an easy opponent.

Same thing got me into boxing i always watched it before but after vargas vs trinidad that **** was the baddest fight i ever seen.

When Muhammad Ali defended against Ron Lyle on May 16, 1975 I became a big-time fan. I always remembered the pre-fight interviews & was surprised to see them again on ESPN classic a couple years ago.
That was almost 31 years ago, & believe it or not, twice in the past year I was guessed to be only 24. (I'll be 40 next month).

My dad's favourite fighter was Marvelous Marvin Hagler, then Nigel Benn.

I think Benn probably his favourite ever.

I remember my grandad used to say Bomber Graham was in a class of his own.

              He was.

my dad was a huge marvin fan as well, being from just outside boston. he actully saw marvin in a liquor store. he said he was suprised how small he actully was. hes only 5'8" but in the ring he commands such a presence that you think hes a big guy
