I think some people sleep on Cleverly, but the guy has skills. He is a very sound/sharp boxer with underrated power. Of course his power's not on Kovalev's level, but it doesn't have to be.

Cleverly via SD in a hard fought battle, but he WILL be victorious. Hell, he may even UD him. Trust me.

I agree. I put a bet in on Cleverly last week.

If Kovalev's stamina is good he will soundly defeat Nathan. Nathan had trouble with Bellew. Kovalev does everything better than Bellew.

Well, Cleverly does have the home advantage so him getting the close nod definitely wouldn't be surprising. Both guys are thinking KO though, and that'll favor the fighter with more power. If Cleverly comes out with a high work-rate, I think he'll get hurt in an exchange and stopped soon after. If he employs a stick-and-spoil strategy, I think he'll make it to the end. But, I'm not sure if he's capable of fighting like that.

If you want to see what happens in this fight just watch paul williams vs. martinez (either one is fine because martinez won both).

Cleverly leaves his chin hanging out. Kovalev stops him, or at least hurts him often enough to deserve a decision.

I watched a couple of interviews of Cleverly saying he's not going to take any unneccessary risks in the fight as he knows Kovalev is a big puncher. If he sticks to this gameplan, I can see him winning....but I don't know if he can stay disciplined enough.
