in terms of raw power wilder is about as hard a puncher as you will ever see. harder than wladimir.

wladimir is much more proven. let's see if wilder can land that stuff on somebody who isn't ready to retire. when wilder's not knocking people out he boxes like a complete novice.

i know some of you have been watching long enough to notice that. most of you will see a spectacular knockout and think "he's ready!"

they've been trying to get wilder some rounds. i still think that's what he needs. i don't want an immediate fight with the arreola - mitchell winner. take it in 2014. you don't want to ruin a fighter with power like that just because he's not ready.

very talented kid, doe. football and basketball, baby. wilder was a prospect for both sports, and started boxing when he was a grown man. you guys wouldnt' even think the dudes in these leagues were real if they all boxed.

why doesn't he just kill them then? if that what you claim he can do?

Surely that would be a lot more impressive, a better technique and more acurate than stick and run till mini fatboy gasses.

You mean the truth as is consistently displayed is Wlad cant manage the offensive skill needed to smash through opponents.

I just want to see him go AT LEAST 6 rounds to see if he can box.

Because wlad is a good boxer. Not only that but he is fighting at a much higher level where trying to bomb out your opponent could well get you ko'd yourself. As has already happened in Wlads career. Wilder isn't even close to that level yet.

I vote for W.K. Beating up 29 cab drivers doesn't mean that you necessarely have monstruous power.

Still , Wilder is a talented and porweful boxer. I would still pick Wlad because of his technique. Trying to knock David Haye doesn't require the same abilities as if you are trying to knock Audley Harrison out.

To answer this question Wilder needs to be tested. I would love to see him for instance against Mitchell or Charr. It would be an amazing fight!

I know that what I will say is shocking and might seem to some of you absurd, but I consider the 2008-2011 version of Vitali Klitschko to be stronger in terms of " raw power" than Both Wilder and Wlad. His style just didn't allow him to expose this power. Knockout ratios are relevant... but to a certain extent. I am more than sure that a guy that would last 12 rounds against these 3 guys would fell more pain against Vitali.

Wilder's style is a different to W.K's one. Like someone previously said, Wilder doesn't totally control his straight right hand. Throwing that kind of straight right hand against fighters such as David Haye or Ali may put you in some big trouble.

That is strictly my opinion based on non empirical thoughts, and I would totally understand that you may disagree with that I've just written.

                This.

Until Wilder actually beats anyone, it's Klit.

He has a decent jab, I think it's being underrated. His defence doesn't look to be the best, his hands do drop when he's throwing combos and he looks a tad clumsy on his feet, then again he is a very big man.

It's obvious he is dedicated, I've never seen Wilder look out of shape, it's rare to see a heavyweight these days with a six pack.

Wilder v Banks next should be a good gauge of how good he is, then the Mitchell/Arreola winner and then one of the big European names. Wilder has to step up now, if he falls, then he falls but he has to strike out for the big time before it's too late and he is a 32 year old lacking time.

O.k. radio I know what your doing trying to get these Klitschko fans worked up but I agree Wilder definitely has the power edge.

Wlad's proven his KO power against a higher class of foes than Wilder
Wilder is lethal, but hasn't gone through top guys just yet
simply gauging raw power, maybe it's equal or close to it
gotta see Wilder take out a top or granite chin guy
need to watch more of him, only really took notice of him recently
