I never really liked his way of fighting and i was a litte annoyed when he didn't seem the need to adapt his fighting style after the martinez and especially the lara fight. I didn't really like him as a boxer but he seems to be a really good person, he showed heart in the ring and ever more heart outside the ring. I wish him all the best and hope he recovers his ability to walk.

I miss paul williams so much

Not the most skilled fighter, never learned how to use his height or jab or sitting down on his punches, kinda comes straight forward,,
But damn he was fun to watch, and had a huge heart, and always came to fight,,

He had great fights with margs, and serg..

We missed out on alot of great fights..
        paul-canelo
        paul-ortiz
        paul-ggg
        paul-angulo
        paul-cotto

        and my personal favorite is
paul vs kirkland,,,, That would have been a great fight,,, Too bad we never got to see it in 2009

I think canelo would have stopped paul, especially at this stage of career for paul...

I think he was become a shot fighter after all the wars, plus lara and serg landed huge shots on him...

Canelo would have NEEDED to stop him...the way Canelo takes minutes off rounds, Williams would have outpointed him

Yeah, without a doubt,,, Canelo either ko's him or gets worn down after 6 and beat in,,,

I just think canelo of 2012 vs paul of 2012 i favor canelo's power..

But if this was the canelo of the hatton, and rhodes fights i think that williams beats him

I would loved to see this fight,,,

although he was already on the decline, that matchup he had with Canelo before the accident would have been really fun to watch...here's to The Punisher

He was hated by May****s because their idol wouldn't fight him. I remember a time when Williams would have been Floyd's toughest fight, even a post destruction by Martinez Williams would likely have been too long, too big and too busy for Floyd.

The guy was a terrific fighter with outstanding wins on his resume. I just wish the accident had never happened because he would have whooped Canelo.
