    I Miss Paul Williams

...besides Burner, Kellerman and that one idiot poster here that called him a modern day Tommy Hearns, there was really nothing you can hate on the guy

although he was already on the decline, that matchup he had with Canelo before the accident would have been really fun to watch...here's to The Punisher

"Hated" in what way? He was overrated as hell on this forum and all over the internet around 2008. Most overrated fighter I've ever seen online. And his accident doesn't change that.

I still have Williams/Martinez 1 on my DVR. He was a warrior in that ring.

My next drink will be dedicated to the man

And that was a true shame. An absolute great human being and all out balls to the wall warrior in the ring. Never ducked or ran from anybody.

Everyone hated him because he constantly called out their favorite fighters.

He was severely overrated. Other than that I have no issues with him.

I can't see how anyone could hate Paul Williams before or after this accident. Excellent fighter to watch and always seemed very humble. The man was a warrior! I'm with OP, I think Canelo vs. Williams would've been a great fight!
