Yea.. but nothing big really.
If he fights somebody notable... then yea.
What he should do is fight somebody GGG's already fought so he can be used as a measuring stick of his ability.
I'd like an Ishida fight, he had a fight last week and evidently isn't retiredComment

Gave only one of his titles to avenge his sole loss in a big money fight in Australia that has exponentially increased his fame in his country.
Or HBO wants Golovkin vs Murray in primetime in the US and Murray has Visa issues.
Also, remember when Edwin Rodriguez was ducking Golovkin?
http://thaboxingvoice.com/edwin-rodr...or-froch/11173Tom Loeffler @TomLoeffler1 3h“I would love to [fight Gennady], his team and promotional company send me a contract to fight at 164lbs and next day they say I have to be 10lbs off. They go on HBO and say they’re big enough to fight anybody from 154 to 168, after I win this tournament I’m open if you want to fight me. My weight is 168lbs, come and get it.”
“Don’t send me a contract saying I have to be 10lbs off or come down to a catch weight, I’m a super middleweight and you said you’d fight anyone from 154 to 168 but then you’re fighting guys at light middleweights. If you’re really as good as you say and your team really believes you’re that good then move up and fight me at 168 and stop sending me contracts that aren’t even worth looking at.”
@stevemaxboxing Rodriguez was offered to fight @gggboxing last January at MSG on @HBOboxing at 168 and he turned it down as well
Seems like Edwin did avoid him.Comment

I kind of find the 500k at that time hard to believe... especially if it was on a triple header.
Only other two people I remember them looking at were Tommy Gun and Edwin.
Don't know why Tommy Gun didn't get the fight... actually, wouldn't be surprised if they try to call him to fight in November.
They tried before and he just had a fight on GGG's undercard.Comment
