I'm pretty sure Chava was hurt. Fighters just never seem to acknowledge it. And there was also some bad blood between those two.
To me, Salvador is the best Mexican fighter ever. I enjoy his fights more than those of Chávez and Finito López.

I wish he was around longer, I have Sal as #2 after JCC. If he would have had a longer career that may have been different.

I rank him higher than JCC because I liked his style more. I thought he had more skill than JCC, plus he was very humble. JCC was a great champion, but he was one of those who did not give credit to those who beat him. He was discrediting DLH and Tszyu after he was defeated by them.

          I agree 100%

You can just wonder what if...

We haven't had that kind of talent ever since. What a shame.

Well, it´s past 10 PM here in Mexico City, too late to still be at work. Wife's not gonna be too happy about that. It's been great talking to you guys. See you soon.

Unfortunately JCC was a sore loser and winner, but I thought he was brilliant. He was a very smart techinical fighter. He is my #1 favorite body puncher and his arsenal of punches was remarkable.
