He ducked Jones from 97 until the Tarver travesty and fall of Roy circa 02/03. There was a 5 year period in which he could've chased down a career defining fight with Jones like Hatton did with Mayweather. He issued a statement him which he said he didn't want to risk it.

He also ducked Pavlik, Winky, Taylor, prime Hopkins, Glen Johnson.
