Doesn't matter. Nothing will change the fact he got clowned on like a mug all night.

Just the thought of all the Yanks screaming at the TV, "Come on Roy, just hit him!!! Please!!!"
I wank to that image.Comment

NOTHING will change what Calzaghe wrote in his book prior to fighting Jones, he declared Jones as being shot and that a win would be meaningless.
NOTHING will change the fact that this is the same Jones who got knocked out in underva minute or two against popular Aussie punching bag Danny Green.
NOTHING will change the fact that Calzaghe Jones struggled to do 200, 000 ppv buys.

And nothing will change the fact that his style resembles a ***** punching his way out of spiderwebs. Nothing will change that.NOTHING will change what Calzaghe wrote in his book prior to fighting Jones, he declared Jones as being shot and that a win would be meaningless.

Nothing you say can change the fact Joe Calzaghe was 46-0 and destroyed RJJ and beat B-Hop.
He is truly and icon an legend of the sport.Last edited by SouthPawHitman; 08-07-2013, 06:56 PM.Comment

The Hopkins and Kessler wins were very good and his brutal derailment of the Lacy hype-train was also good.Comment

that's the truthOriginally posted by freethinkersamThe proposition of Calzaghe as an all-time great should be deemed an indictment for Fraud. This English-born, half-Italian - half-Welsh CHARLATAN led a completely manufactured career. His bogus hometown slap-stoppages were atrocious which can be seen, and exposed of, on YouTube.
It took this crook NINE years to unify, and in his ''reign'', he boxed FIVE top-10 contenders. His promoter, Frank Warren, a leaching gangster with odious ties to the WBO ensured Calzaghe could get away with the most repulsive of contenders, often fighting top-50 WBO mickey mouse contenders.
Calzaghe has a few decent wins. But his style was terrible and he was a compulsive cherry picker.
IF Calzaghe is great, then by the same analogy we can say Sven Ottke and Dariusz Michalczewski are legends.
Pathetic.
