      I voted cotto

but after thinking about it,,, Vitali was the best in his division,, something cotto has never done,,,

Cotto does have more skills, but vitali at least was the best heavy when lewis retired till 2005 when vitali retired,,,
To be fair it wasnt like vitali lorded over a really deep heavy division,,,
ruiz, byrd, golata, mccline, johnson, etc not exactly 70's era

Miguel Cotto, considering his size and REACH, he is a great of this era and a Hall of Famer. THREE weight champ with an insane resume. Vitali doesn't come close.

Put a fighter of Pacquiao and Mayweather's caliber in HW and Vitali isn't the best. It needs to be put in perspective. He also didn't last that long at the top.

He's never been the best of his division, but he's beaten some of the best in his division. Mosley, Clottey, Quintana, Judah, hell even Urkal may have been top 10 when he beat him. Maybe YOU didn't read his post.

hes specifically pointed out the top guy in each weight class, not lower tier top 10 fighters.
