You know something I am still dissapionted on the Tzyu vs Hatton match.

I downloaded some of his highlights and I say WOW this guy cant really punish a person but when I see the Tzyu match is different Hatton from what I saw on the Highlight video, there he was boxing and in Tzyu match he was wrestling and that was upsets me.

Styles make fights easy mas, Hatton knew that it would be dangerous to try and take on Tsyzu at range and adapted his style to win, that shows a great fighter!
Too many people watched Hatton for the first time that night and jumped to conclusions, Hatton can box, fight and if need to brawl he did what was required on the night to win!

            But why?!?!?!?

Tyszu is a better boxer than Hatton but Hatton is a better fighter. He had an advantage on that fight.

One of possible boxers how may fight Hatton is Jose Luis Castillo and that guy is very smart fighter and know what to do. He is not like Tszyu he will play it dirty without beig caught.

You dont understand hatton had 40 fights.... cotto only 25!!! cotto is still going and his resume is gonna look better than hattons!!!

cotto has fought and defeated sosa, pinto, abbduluave, corley, muassa (undefeated at the time) and has only had 25 fights!!!

It is true that Cotto has fought better opponents than Hatton. Hatton has only two good wins in his last few fights!

However, Hatton handled Tsyzu and Massera ( mind the spelling )
in typical style. However, Cotto has looked quite vunerable in his last few fights and Hatton hasn't shown any weakness accept for cuts!

It is because Hatton looks so dominant and Cotto so fragille at world level that the concepts of Hatton beating Cotto seem a reality!

I think if Cotto vs Hatton Cotto wont come unprepared.

We will come maybe stronger than any other fight he had ever had and may build a KO around his hand.

Hatton's reputation in the amateurs was actually the COMPLETE OPPOSITE to a pressure fighter! When all the other kids would go straight in throwing loads of leather, it was young Ricky that would be the one-off to step back and have a look and actually pick his shots. At 12 years old, Ricky started punching to the body on his own accord - nobody told him to. At a young age, Ricky was doing things that other kids his age wouldn't, Ricky was very mature for his age when coming through the ranks.

They do say that Ricky Hatton was probably the most skillful footballer back at the FA School of Excellence with the ball at his feet, he'd always been a right-winger since he was a young kid but Man City were trying to convert him into a role just behind the strikers in 1994 but, in the end, Ricky chose boxing over football.. Man City rang him up in 1996 and told him that he could be the "English Georgi Kinkladze" if he wanted to be - Ricky hadn't played football for two years so he must of been damn good to still be in their plans/hopes! He showed plenty of nice footwork in the amateurs, always bouncing on his feet and his mind always alert, and he picked his shots well. He was also really quick little ****er back then, but he started using weights in 2001 and has gradually slowed down more and more.. as far as I'm concerned that was a huge mistake using weights because he's actually getting slower. In the amateurs and at the start of his pro career, Ricky looked much quicker than he does now.

If you mean Maussa, Cotto handled him better than hatton did. Cotto has 25 fights and has fought Sosa, Corley, Maussa, Ceballos, Bazan, Bailey, and Torres. At 25 fights Hatton had fought absolutely nobody. I am not saying that Cotto can beat hatton, but at 25 fights Cotto has an impressive resume. You are comparing 25 fights to 40. Be logical.
